Our Founder
Lou Styles became a professional musician at 12 years old.
He would go on to tour all over the US with his band Lou Styles and the Stylists from the 1950's well into the 80's.
He opened Styles Music (then called "Sounds and Music Record and Cassette Store") in 1978 with two of his sons, Lou Jr, and Gregg.
Styles Music is still family owned and operated, and continues to serve Southern California's local music scene. Styles is your local full service musical instrument, live sound and recording retailer.
